About Jasmine

I play the violin and I have an excellent teacher. I have been playing the violin since March of 2006.

I play in my local Suzuki Symphony Orchestra. I think it’s really fun and exciting. I hope to continue studying the violin and be able to play it very well.  I also want to do well in school, Chinese school, and soccer.

My favorite T.V. shows are The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, Teen Titans, and Kim Possible. My favorite foods are pizza, chow mein, and sour things like lemonade, and candy. I also like to drink green tea.

What are your most creative and successful practice strategies?

I have many successful practice strategies, including practicing with the metronome, playing the piece slowly, section practice, playing with the piano for intonation, and listening to the CD (if possible) before playing it myself.

Hobbies

Playing soccer, tennis, and reading.

Favorite Songs to Play

The Bach Double, Millionaire’s Hoedown, and Humoresque are my favorite pieces of music. My favorite composer is Giochinno Rossini.
